A guided reflection
Two questions, one for each future you're weighing. No email needed to see where you land.
From the note Can't make a decision? Hold each future in turn. New here? Read it first, or just start below.
First
What kind of decision is this?
This just sets the words for what follows. Pick the closest one.
Second
Name the two futures, briefly.
A few words each is plenty. This is just so you can tell them apart in a moment. Optional, you can leave these blank.
Future A
Hold this future in mind as if you had already decided and were living it, not as the choice in front of you today.
Give it a moment. Then notice, don't think it through: is this a feeling you'd like more of, or less of?
Future B
Now let that one go, and hold the other future the same way, as if it's already decided and you're living it.
Same question: is this a feeling you'd like more of, or less of?
It doesn't have to feel exciting. Clarity counts as an answer.
If that number is lower than you'd like, that's worth knowing too. Here's what staying in the middle ground is actually costing you: What waiting is costing you.
Or if a decision has been stalled for a long time, that's a conversation more than a tool. I keep a free 45-minute call open for exactly that.
